Attached is the April 2022 GDD Update. I’m pleased to announce that the report has been expanded to include additional locations. The additional locations come from the Grape Weather Network, an array of high quality weather stations that have been placed within vineyards by the Viticulture and Enology Team at the Summerland Research and Development Centre. The added locations are West Kelowna, Naramata Bench, Okanagan Falls and Golden Mile.
*Correction Notice: An error in some previous monthly GDD plots was discovered. The error resulted in the 2018 to 2021 June monthly GDD value to be displayed on plots as greater than actual (displayed as June+April). The error is a display error limited to the monthly plots and does not affect the reported yearly GDD totals. I have corrected the error and re-published the 2018 to 2021 final reports, available on Google Drive.
